ABSTRACT
This is the case of a 47-year-old male patient
with a history of chronic liver disease classified
as Child B secondary to hepatitis B, diabetes
mellitus 2 and hypertension, who went to the
emergency room due to 5 months of dyspnea at
rest, productive cough and hemoptysis; lung infection
due to tuberculosis was ruled out, while
interstitial pneumonia and bacteremia are documented
by Pasteurella multocida. The diagnosis
of lung cancer was also made in the current hospitalization.
