Projects constitute multidisciplinary activities that form a system, in which each activity is a subsystem, establishing a relationship among all of them. These activities are guided by specific objectives and framed within their purpose. When examining the term in the educational context it has been observed that the specialized literature lacks of conceptualizations related to the project in the didactic framework; the main references about this are aimed to authors who have promoted project teaching 1-4. These authors generally specify the characteristics that rule this approach and agree to highlight the leading role that the student must have to achieve the objectives or proposed goals in the performance of a particular activity.
The dynamics generated by the application of the project approach justifies the selection of methods that guarantee a conscious assimilation of knowledge and the development of creative abilities in students.
