Optic nerve drusen. Beningn pathology? Three cases report.

ABSTRACT
We present three cases with diagnose of bilateral pseudopapilledema secondary to optic disk drusen. The consulting reason was subjective symptoms of reduced visual acuity, cephalgia and vertigo. During the ophthalmologic exploration we found one case with significant reduced visual acuity; fundoscopic exam revealed elevated disc with visible drusen in two cases and one with elevated disc only. Retinal fluorescein angiography, visual evoked potential, optic coherent tomography, computerized axial tomography and resonance magnetic imaging were made. In all cases campimetric defects were found, one case reached legal blindness.
