Cellular therapy in the heart attack

ABSTRACT
The heart attack is a morbid process in which are affected the coronary arteries initially and gives as consequence the necrosis of a part of the heart muscle. This constituted the second cause of death in Cuba in 2014, and the cellular therapy has transformed into a promising alternative for the treatment of this affection. A bibliographical revision to describe the modalities of cells heart mother and extracardiacas that allow the regeneration of this fabric in the patients with this ailment was performed, by means of the revision of 24 references. Although with good results the cellular therapy, the persistence of its long-term effects is applied it is not still achieved totally in affected patient. The cells of the umbilical cord seem to have a bigger capacity to repair the heart damage that the cells mother estromales, due to multiple advantages.
