Rehabilitation with fixed bridge by severe bruxism. A case report

ABSTRACT
Bruxism is the action of pressing and to squeak the teeth without functional purposes. The treatment in severe cases after certain and eliminated the cause is the rehabilitation mediating prosthetics apparatuses. The case of a 33-year-old male patient that went to the consultation of dental prothesisservice referring to present affectation in upper anterior teeth, with antecedents of severe bruxism. To the clinical exam it is not observed loss of the integrity of the upper incisives, loss of the vertical occlusive dimension and lost teeth by bruxism without prosthetic restoration. Fixed rigid bridge constituted a treatment clinically satisfactory and effective to short and I release term, being demonstrated the validity of its use. It reestablished the mastication functions, aesthetics and phonetics.
