ABSTRACT

Cutis laxa is a rare disorder of the connective tissue caused by defects in the network of elastic fibers, that mainly affects the skin. It can be associated to different diseases and does not have precisely determined pathophysiology or specific diagnostic test. It is reported a case of a patient diagnosed with cutis laxa, after exposure to sulfhydryl grouping in captopril, and in addition, a literature review is presented.
