ABSTRACT
Literary works as well as the enjoyment that we
give inform us of the reality and the world for his
knowledge and transformation. Thus, understanding
a literary work is translate it to our experience, our
life to be able to narrate so our humanity from the
concrete stories of the characters, i.e. reveals universal
aspects of the human condition. A protagonist
or reference in the history of the literature has
been the doctor. This work deals with the representation
of the doctor in the figure of Dr. Bernard Rieux,
hero of the plague of the writer Albert Camus novel.
