Results: A total of 400 users were included. The age of participants was between 18 and 56 years old, with a high school education or lower in 66% (n = 264). Half of the users reported that the nurse was present and in the vast majority of cases I cordially greet them; In addition to explaining the procedures that had to be carried out. Despite the fact that up to 80% of users knew that they could complain about maltreatment by hospital staff, up to 71% did not identify where to perform it.
Conclusions: In general, the treatment of the nurse to the relatives of the patients was good. A monitoring and training program should be implemented for health personnel involved in dealing directly with the family member and the patient.
