Aspiration oocyte recovery by laparoscopy for embryo transfer in goats: a review

ABSTRACT
The oocyte recovery by laparoscopy for embryo transfer, is a technique used in the oocyte extraction from a genetically superior animal, in order to produce embryo in vitro to implant them in a genetically poor value female, which allows increasing the selection response into an improvement genetic program by obtaining animals above the population average and because the generation interval can be reduced. Previous to the oocyte recovery, it is necessary to prepare donor and recipient based on exogenous hormones, to achieve the production and maximum oocyte extraction by the same donor doe, and therefore, a larger probably number of the embryo produced and transferred. The objective of this review was to describe different protocols used in oocyte recovery by the laparoscopy technique for embryo transfer in goats, the present literature review was carried out using scientist publications of the topic.REFERENCES
