ABSTRACT
This article responds to the first result of a research project titled «Cuban adolescents and youths in the family and couple contexts», developed by the Centre of Youth Studies. It systematizes some researches focused on adolescents and young people in the Cuban family context, taking into account the influence of this socializing agent on the construction of their personality.Documentary analysis and expert interviews are the implemented techniques that contributed to identify many tendencies concerning the explored issues and the results in some of the studies made by Cuban social researchers during the last 15 years. In order to analyze the information, some categories were created, making the content of the reviewed researches possible to put together.
The results disclose that, although these population groups’ multiple problems are widely studied, their own dynamics and their interaction patterns in a family context have not been emphasized. This evidence could favor the design of actions, policies and more efficient programs taking into account their needs and greatest expectations.
