ABSTRACT
Acute renal failure, defined as the loss of kidney function caused by
various causes, from infection to the intake of drugs, has still a high
mortality in critical care units, the therapy of this disease is from its
own protection to the artificial kidney replacement of injured kidney
functions, currently the continuous renal replacement therapy has
been used as a way of renal support, providing greater clinical stability
in the most unstable patients, this review discusses concepts and
indications, as well as the programming method.
