ABSTRACT

Intrauterine device has wide acceptance as a no definitive method of natal control and it uses with more frequency. Despite its easiness of instalation, the personal in charge to that meanly in rural countries sometimes have not enough knowledge for that. We presented the case of 37 year old woman wich was installed an intrauterine device inside urinary bladder with subsecuent pregnancy at 2 months and 13 years later presented to our service with urinary tract infections of large data and with studies it was found intrauterine device inside urinary bladder, and was resolved with cistolithotripsy and endoscopic extraction.
