ABSTRACT
Introduction: The most common lymphomas of the digestive tract is located in the stomach. Objective: To highlight the possibilities of ultrasonography and radiology in the diagnosis of gastrointestinal lymphoma. Results: The imaging manifestations of gastric lymphoma are diverse and vary according to the technique applied and the experience of the operator, the latter being paramount, especially in the particular case of ultrasound. In ultrasound, the hypoechogenicity of the lesions alerts about the possibility that it is a lymphoma. Radiological examination of the upper digestive tract is especially useful in the diagnosis of gastric lymphoma. There are several radiological patterns of presentation of this condition. Conclusion: Both radiology and ultrasonography are useful techniques to suggest the diagnosis of gastric lymphoma, although it should always be confirmed with histology.
