ABSTRACT
Punch grafts are a type of autologous full-thickness graft, which
are a therapeutic alternative for wounds of different etiologies.
This technique is easy to perform, ambulatory and has acceptable
cosmetic and functional results.
We present the treatment with punch grafting technique in
two cases of non-healing ulcers. The first case in a patient with
a wound following oncological surgery of a melanoma. The
second case in a patient with a leg ulcer secondary to chronic
venous insufficiency and diabetes. Subsequent to the accomplishment
of the grafts, in both cases a modified version of
multilayer dressing was used, in order to assure the cohesion of
the grafts to the bed of the ulcer and to allow the ambulation
of both patients.
