ABSTRACT
Background: pyoderma gangrenosum (pg) is an uncommon,
painful ulcerative cutaneous condition of unknown etiology,
and frequently associated with systemic diseases. We are reporting
three new cases of pg: one of idiopathic etiology, another
in association to a chronic nonspecific ulcerative colitis,
and the third associated to systemic lupus erythematosus. This
last one, hightlights the rare association reported in the medical
literature.
