ABSTRACT
Female orgasmic disorder is characterized by the difficulty in experiencing orgasm and/or a marked reduced intensity of orgasmic sensations, after a phase of normal sexual arousal. Factors disturbing the quality of women’s life (educational, psychological, use of drugs and psychotropic drugs, among them) can be involved. This paper aims to project a protocol of the attention of female orgasmic disorder from primary health care to specialized levels. A review of the topic was carried out and the project was submitted to expert analysis in the National Center for Sexual Education. The medical history, with psychosexual exploration and gynecological examination, as well as the evaluation of the relationship, were highlighted as instruments. Education and sexual orientation, the measures of health promotion, and the use of techniques such as sensory focalization and masturbation training were considered crucial.
