ABSTRACT
The study of the role that genomic origin plays
on different pathologies, among which we can
mention some types of cancer, neurodegenerative
diseases and others, has opened the possibility
for therapies based on genomic editing, techniques
that are proper of molecular biology.
CRISPR-Cas systems represent the main tool of
this new trend, its implementation in the fields of
therapeutics promises advances of a curative nature,
either by acting on the editing of alterations
or deficiencies of genomic origin, or by programming
immunological responses appropriate for a
given pathology
