ABSTRACT

We introduce a clinical case with mycotic aneurysm. It is always a life-threatening condition with high morbidity. There are several microorganisms that can cause this disease. It is developed in healthy or diseased aortic or arterial wall after an episode of vascular sepsis. Cholecystitis was the source in this patient. Although hybrid procedure (vascular and endovascular) has previously been performed in the presence of bacteriemia, the decision to treat patients with this kind of procedure remains controversial, even though it has been reported to be successful in many cases.
