Intraabdominal desmoplastic small round cell tumor. A case report

ABSTRACT
The desmoplastic small round cell tumor is a rare mesenchymal malignancy. Its main clinical feature is to happen essentially in young patients and to have a very poor prognosis. 32 years old female patient with antecedents of cervical II intraepithelial neoplasia (moderate dysplasia). Biopsy of the tumor located in the parietal peritoneum was made, which was guided by laparoscopy, where a dermoplastic small round cell intra-abdominal tumor is reported. The neoplasia showed an extensive necrosis and a high rate of spreading in all the samples studied. In the laparoscopic study, the existence of peritoneal carcinomatosis and liver metastases was also confirmed.
