ABSTRACT
Objectives: to review the relationship between aging, cancer and chronic kidney disease. Development: with the aging of the population, the number of fragile elderly people and people with chronic no communicable diseases are increasing, among them is striking the cancer and chronic kidney disease which are among the leading causes of death in Cuba, at all ages and in elderly people in particular. For this reason, a review of the relationship between these three processes is made. Conclusions: The increased frequency of cancer and chronic kidney disease in elderly people has been shown in many studies, leading to disruption of their functioning. It is therefore important to have a systematic control in elderly people and especially in those who are carriers of risk factors for these diseases, with the aim of preventing them and / or making an early diagnosis and early treatment of them.
