Renal carcinoma sarcomatoide and left hydronephrosis

ABSTRACT

A case, whose final diagnosis was a renal carcinoma of sarcomatoide variety, is presented. This variety of the renal carcinoma is not frequent and a brief bibliographical revision is presented. It is a sick person with pain in the left hypochondrium and palpable tumor with lumbar contact. It was studied with laboratory tests and imagenology. It was proven a left tumor renal, composed by hidronephrosis with a tumoral mass in the renal hilium and the treatment was the lumbotomyand a radical nephrectomy. The results of the complementary studies and the images of the extirpated tumor are exposed. The patient returns to the hospital 10 days after his discharge, in serious state and he died 18 days after the treatment.
