Antecedent: Eosinophilic gastroenteropathology (EGP) is an emerging disease, in our midst it is still difficult to make diagnosis given that requires for this suspicion, and perform an endoscopy and the histopathological report.
Objective: Submit 12 cases of pediatric patient’s whit EGP and on the basis of the diagnostic histopathology perform the observation of gastrointestinal symptoms associated with these cases.
Material and methods: Study of cohort retrospective and observational. We select those pediatric patients those who complied with criteria histopathological for EGP and observation of associated symptoms; between the months of April 2010 to March 2013 at a hospital in Mexico City.
