We report the use of intralesional 5-fluorouracil (5FU) in the treatment of recalcitrant and periungual warts in an open-label study of 33 patients. Twenty-eight patients (84,8%) presented clinical cure (ρ < 0,001). Intralesional 5FU therapy appears to be a beneficial and safe treatment for this disease.
