Experiences of the nursing professional about hospital procedures

ABSTRACT
Introduction: The hospital nurses' daily routine presents several experiments and procedures of experiences and situations practiced in the hospital. Objective: Analyze, in their ethical aspects, the experiences of hospital nurses. Methods: Descriptive study with qualitative approach carried out with 20 nursing professional in two hospitals of the city of Santa Cruz, Brazil. The interviews were gathered from June to July 2015 and were analyzed by their thematic content. Results: In front of the experience of the professionals who participated in the hospital study, the importance is emphasized of the professional practice law and the nursing ethical code, and situations are shown as reflecting the professional ethics. Conclusions: The hospital nursing professionals' experiences about the activities and procedures performed reveal that in spite of the ethical mistake existing in the profession, humanized attention is a nursing objective.
