Perception of mental health professional about the singular therapeutic project

ABSTRACT
Introduction: In the field of mental health, the Singular Therapeutic Project was used in institutional deconstruction, with the aim at obtaining an integrated performance of the team so that the user's need for health were assessed. Objective: Analyze the perception of mental health professionals about the Singular Therapeutic Project. Methods: Qualitative research carried out in the months of November and December 2014, and whose subjects were professionals who practiced ion the Centers of Psychosocial Care of the municipality of Ilhéus-Bahia, Brazil. The data were produced by means of semi-structured interviews and analyzed based on the perspective of thematic content analysis. Results: In the thematic category "Spinning advantages and eases in the use of STP," the professionals pointed out that the Singular Therapeutic Project broadens the sense of care at the individual and collective levels, makes possible the dialog within the multi-profesional team, and stimulates the user's autonomy in the comprehensive care perspective. Reduced team, professionals' replacement, lack of structural resources, absence of users and family in the unit to continue with the proposed action because of the over-assessment of the cares received at home, all of which constitutes elements for the category "Challenges in the operationalization of the Singular Therapeutic Project." Conclusions: The reorganization of the services is important for the high quality health care. Greater articulation with Basic Attention and adopting measures guaranteeing the necessary conditions for the implementations, accompaniment and continuity of the Singular Therapeutic Project. Besides, the inclusion is necessary for a topic on the training and the capacity bluffing activities for professional in the services, as an innovative strategy for health care in the area of mental health, which would avoid wrong behaviors un the use of the Singular Therapeutic Project.
