Cuba's international cooperation in higher medical education, a viable way for universal health coverage

ABSTRACT
A review was made about the behavior of higher medical education in the medical schools abroad that have been opened or run by Cuba in international cooperation. The teaching is imparted by a Cuban faculty, with their program of study, appreciating excellent results and impact in each of the countries. The objectives of the work are to characterize the medical school training students with Cuban professors abroad and to relate the elements that constitute impacts or results in this type of medical training.
