ABSTRACT
Ewing’s sarcoma is a bone tumor that
mainly occurs in the hip bones, long
bones and underlying soft tissues. It is
uncommon in adults and is the second
bone tumor in children and adolescents.
Clinical case: a 66-year-old woman
with pain in the right hip and a month of evolution, a
radiographic study is made in which a sub capital fracture
is evident. It is shown, during the Arthroplasty. A biopsy is
taken due to a great bone fragility, which reports compatible
neoplasia with Ewing’s sarcoma.
Conclusion: hip fracture
is not always due to osteoporosis, in some cases there is a
tumor etiology, produced by the Ewing’s sarcoma.
