ABSTRACT
Objective. To inform the case of Horseshoe kidney and review of the literature. Methods. We have the case of one male cadaveric donor of 50 years old, without evidence of urologic dysfunction, with seric creatinine of 1.4 mg/dL, and in the surgery of extraction with the Starzl method it was found a horseshoe kidney with the isthmus on the lower pole, with an anomalous vascularity, taking the choice of not extract the organs. Conclusion. The horseshoe kidney is the most common anatomic variation, without no contraindication of the organ extraction, with a normal kidney function and asses every case depending the vascular complexity.REFERENCES
