ABSTRACT
The sarcoidosis is an inflammatory systemic illness of chronic course that affects the breathing system and the lymphatic ganglia essentially although it can also show predilection for other organs like the skin, peritoneum, bowels, liver, joints and heart with formation of granulomas. We report a case of intestinal sarcoidosis in a 44-yearold male patient with clinical manifestations of abdominal sharp pain and vomits. The complementary exams showed leukocytosis. For his torpid evolution, an explorer laparotomy was performed where a small intestine tumor is verified which resection and anastomosis was carried out. The histological study inform a process inflammatory granulomatous none necrotizing with intestinal and ganglionic affectation and compatible with sarcoidosis (intestinal sarcoidosis). Although the intestinal affection in the sarcoidosis is not very frequent, it should be kept in mind in the differential diagnosis of the abdominal pain.
