ABSTRACT
The orthodontic-periodontal interrelation wins in importance at world scale due to the periodontopathies and malocclusions, which are some of the main causes of mobility and tooth loss. To such an effect, the updating of knowledge on the topic is very important in the estomatology staff, which should put emphasis in the potentiation of theoretical elements that contribute to a better interdiscipline relationship, with the purpose of guaranteeing a quality care to the patient who requires more effective and meticulous treatments, according to the advances of science and technology.
