ABSTRACT
Introduction: The bezoares are collections of material accumulated in stomach or intestine and they tend to take its form, being considered to the stomach bezoares that they transfer the piloro as syndrome of Rapunzel, the symptoms are diverse since gastrointestinal alterations light until data of irritation peritoneal and drilling, where diverse radiologic studies and endoscopic are done necessary for the diagnosis, permitting from time to time the resolution of the patology by endoscopia, and when is not possible, the gastrotomy is the election procedure.Case presentation: Female of 15 years, preceding of threads of towel ingestion, psiquiatric processing to the 12 years by manifesting bad, frequent, and easy crying conduct. Recurrent abdominal pain since the 12 years of age, with hospitalization and processing for colitis and gastritis, and weight lost of a year of evolution. It enters for pain abdominal of 24 hours of evolution in epigastrio and mesogastrio, accompanied of nausea and gastric vomit in 12 occasions with textil fibers, receives medical processing without symptoms remission, for which responds to this unit, where to the exploration mass is found palpable in mesogastric and hipogastric region with data of peritoneal irritation, with radiologic mass in stomach, and by endoscopy mass in stomach with hair, compact, without step of the endoscopic to duodeno, is carried out laparotomy, revision of cavity, gastrotomy and extraction of tricotextilo bezoar, which was found in all the stomach being extended 80cm distal to the piloro, studies after surgery with abscess of wall which is resolved, good tolerance to the oral way and itself. Carried out of service to the 9 days after surgery.
Discussion: The bezoares as in this case are accumulate of hair and textiles, which they relate to the ingestion of hair and as in our case antecedents are found of conduct alterations, is also important to stand out that the diagnosis was late, since the abdominal mass was evident and not the complementary studies were carried out priorly, until the simptoms persistence that it carries to carry out studies of image and endoscopy, in some occasions the extraction of the same one can be carried out for endoscopy and when this is not feasible, the gastrotomy is the procedure of election, as was the case our.
