ABSTRACT
Clinical dentist may encounter physiological and pathological phenomena caused by the changes in atmospheric pressure in the increasing number of air passengers, flight attendants, leisure pilots, as well as military and airline pilots. These include barodontalgias and barotraumas. In turn, due to the importance of aeronautical safety, it is necessary to obtain the necessary knowledge in order to create efficient preventive plans. This is why the present article includes a review of the updated literature with the aim of expanding knowledge regarding barodontalgia as clinical entity.
