ABSTRACT
Eating and sleeping habits are very important in medicine and nursery students, they are healthy habits models for patients. The objective of this study was to analyze this kind of habits among students in the following areas: Health Sciences, Physics and Mathematics and Social Sciences, based on gender and profession. One hundred students from each of the following college careers were evaluated: Medicine, Nursing, Architecture and Communication, at a public university in Mexico. A Likert scale was used. The results indicated that most of the participants of the four careers show habits that could affect your health, being men who are most at risk. Students of Medicine and Nursery don´t apply their knowledge to take care of your health. Additionally, they are overworked and don´t rest long enough. It suggest a stress investigation, coping, social support and body image.
