ABSTRACT
The following work is a review of the investigations on the learning styles of the students and professionals of education´s area between the year 2000 and 2015. There were checked the databases Dialnet, Redalyc, Scielo and the social scientific network Researchgate. One found a total of 1769 articles about learning styles of which 27 were expiring with the criteria of incorporation (published between the 1° of January, 2000 and June 39, 2015; Spanish language, articles of investigation, university students, degree of Education). The review showed that the CHAEA is the instrument most used in these investigations, indicating that the students of this area are more reflexive and theoretical. Some works related the learning styles to the approaches of learning, instructional methods and time of search of information. On the other hand others showed independence of the learning styles with the styles of thought, attention, memory and executive function. More investigations are necessary with other instruments different from the CHAEA.
