ABSTRACT
The concept of resilience has been used in psychology to refer to the ability of persons to develop psychologically healthy despite adverse conditions. In this paper it is established that the ericksonian utilization approach within psychotherapy is catalyst resilient responses consultants, allowing define resilience as the human capacity to use resources, learning and features are there for innovative ways to allow performance modify itself to solve difficulties and overcome these performance itself, influencing the environment and its development with it. Analysis of a clinical case of seven clinical sessions in which we can see the relationship between utilization and resilient responses in a woman of 58 years with depression is made.
