ABSTRACT
An educational intervention was carried out on 75 pregnant women at risk of suffering from gestational hypertensive disease, belonging to Polyclinic 1 Francisca Rivero Arocha of Manzanillo in Granma, from January to October 2016 in order to modify some knowledge about this condition and improve the Quality of life of these pregnant women. In the sample, the prevalence of pregnant women aged 35 and over, with a personal and family history of chronic, nulliparous and normal-weight hypertension, was predominant. Before the educational action, the majority of the affected ones had inadequate notions on the subject and after this managed to modify them positively, for which the effectiveness of the program of activities was demonstrated.REFERENCES
