ABSTRACT
A 27 years male patient with early appearing primary open angle glaucoma that underwent a trabeculectomy procedure with adjunctive mytomicyn C and resulting severe hypotony due to excessive filtration developed macular edema and decreased vision,. The use of compressive bandage and autologous blood was not useful and a scleral donor patch was used to close the excessive leaking. Visual acuity recovered at preoperative levels and the macular folds disappeared in one month, although improving of vision was noticed from the first week.
