ABSTRACT
Scleroatrophic lichen is a chronic inflammatory disease of the skin of unknown etiology, with a special predilection for the female genital area. We report the case of a 36-year-old female patient who began her illness with the appearance of hypopigmented macules that over the years converged to form scleroatrophic plaques. We communicate this case of extragenital scleroatrophic lichen because of the low frequency of its presentation, due to the location of the lesions.
