Quality of the state examinations of the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 school years in the bachelor of Nursing Career

ABSTRACT
Introduction: this study is an evaluation work done in the area of the teaching-learning process in the field of evaluation.Objective: to compare results from the characterization of regular state tests of 5th year of the Bachelor of Nursing that were applied in the 2011-2012, 2012-2013.
Methods: theoretical, empirical methods and statistical procedures that allowed the triangulation of the results were applied. Examinations were evaluated, analyzing quality indicators was performed, the behavior of state test was determined according to the rotations and subjects in the Mayarí, Banes, Moa, Holguín and Sagua locations was determined.
Results: Medical Surgical Nursing rotation had a greater distribution of questions in both school years and more difficult. Holguín and Banes locations were the ones of more difficult. The issue that had the greatest difficulty in the rotation of Surgical Physician in the academic year 2011-2012 was related to Nursing Care for patients with cardiovascular system conditions, with a difficulty index between 0.58 and 0.64, followed by the topic related to Nursing Care for patients with endocrine system disorders with similar behavior, with difficulty index between 0.64 and 0.68, following by the subject Nursing Care to patients with affections of the respiratory system, with difficulty index of 0.67 and 0.69, respectively. In the 2012-2013 school years, the topic Nursing care for patients with psychiatric conditions had a major problem at the Banes location with a difficulty of 0.61. The subject of nursing care for patients with renal system conditions and hydroelectrolytic balance had a major crisis at Holguin location with a difficulty of 0.49.
Conclusions: the methodology enables compliance with the principle of quality evaluation feedback.
