ABSTRACT
Introduction: The strategy in research and information technology has the fundamental objective of graduating a doctor able to use it as a methodological tool; however, the concrete implementation of it, has certain shortcomings. Aim: To assess a proposal of application of the curricular strategy of research and Information Technology (IT) applied to the Medical Studies. Method: A pedagogical experience was carried out on February to June 2014 and September to December 2015 periods. The sophomore contents schedule was adjusted to start with the Research Methodology. Subjects were taught to students by the Psychology subject and the seminar in which students had to present the project profile were oriented. Subsequently, parts of the project that could not be presented in the seminar were reviewed by teams, as: The operationalization of variables and statistical processing, were handed in and discussed at the end of the semester. The research was carried out in the first half of the third year of the medical studies. Results: 83.3 % of students were graded 4 and 5 points in the project and 100% in the final report. Conclusions: In the final presentation of the papers, the results were better off than in previous years so it is considered that what was done is an appropriate implementation of the same research.REFERENCES
