ABSTRACT
This research consists of the elaboration of an exercises system for the development of text composition in the students of the Preparatory Academic Course of the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM), because they present difficulties in the functional components of the subject, especially to achieve competition in written communication. The proposal has as a theoretical and methodological base the cognitive, communicative and sociocultural approach, because it allows the study of the language as a whole, through the integration of perspectives addressed by different branches of linguistics. The objective of this work is to elaborate a exercise system for the work with the text composition that contributes to the development of the cognitive, communicative and sociocultural competence of the students of the ELAM Preparatory Academic Course. Theoretical and empirical methods such as analytic-synthetic, induction-deduction, historical-logical and documentary study were used. The proposal of exercises system will increase the skills of composition of students in the Preparatory Academic Course, because it takes into account the integration of the components of language teaching and is based on communicative situations that motivate and induce students to reflect on the most suitable means for each of them.REFERENCES
