Correlation between the number of microorganism colonies in seminal cultures with the alterations in the indices of the seminal analysis

ABSTRACT
The seminal liquid infection disease has been consider a powerful condition to alter the seminal parameters like motility and viability in the spermatozoa, the main microorganism found in seminal culture is a Chlamydia trachomatis and Ureaplasma urealyticum, in this work we determine the correlation index into spermatic viability and motility with respect to multiple asymptomatic seminal infection in patients infertile. Two hundred and seventy seven samples of seminal liquid were studied with seminal analysis and seminal culture, 72.4% were positive to 1-4 different colonies of pathogens microorganism, the mains infectious agent were Gram (+) agents 40.09%, Enterobacteriae 40.95%, Mycoplasm 12.07% and Chlamydia 4.7%. In the 10.94% of the patients without infections in the seminal liquid the sperm vitality was abnormal, 42.86% of all patients with seminal liquid infection with 3-4 types of microorganisms the sperm vitality decrease at least 50%. In the 42.2% of infertile patients without seminal liquid infection showed astenozoosperm, in the 57.1% of patients with seminal liquid asymptomatic multiple-infections (3-4 agents) showed astenozoosperm. The multiple-infections in the seminal liquid are a main factor to development male infertility because decrease (a+b) motility and vitality of the spermatozoid.
