ABSTRACT
Mathematics is part of the curriculum in the training of specialists in Basic Biomedical Sciences. However, the learning outcomes of this subject have not been as expected. With the aim of minimizing the causes of these results, in the 2012-2013 academic year, we successfully introduced content management with an interdisciplinary approach and during the 2013-2014 academic year a work with the systemic structure of content was developed, with emphasis in the treatment of the resolution of mathematical problems with a biomedical approach. The didactic conception that is presented was introduced from the academic year 2014-2015 and it harmoniously integrates both ideas and enhances the learning of the resolution of mathematical problems with a biomedical approach. They served to motivate, enrich and structure the content systemically. Conception has contributed to raising motivation and the integrated application of knowledge, methods, modes of action and facilitated that residents reveal interdisciplinary relationships. Its pertinence was evaluated from the prospective method related to expert opinions or consultants and according to the defined ranges it was demonstrated the existence of agreement between the criteria issued, which indicated that the specialists carried out a rational analysis of the proposal, guaranteeing the objectivity of the result.
