ABSTRACT
The increase of childhood obesity around the world has provoked
that investigators become worried about that specific
abnormality that occurs in the autonomous cardiac modulation
as a result of that condition. The abnormalities autonomous
cardiac, related to fat accumulation in the abdominal
area, are related to the occurrence of other conditions such
as systemic arterial hypertension, diabetes, cerebrovascular
events, and myocardial infarction. The variation of the cardiac
frequency could be an indicator of these alterations, and
training to detect the elevation of the frequency could help
to regulate the cardiac and emotional activity which is related
to overeating. This document presents the theoretical
bases to begin a treatment with obese children aimed to regulate
the autonomous function and to prevent coronary and
emotional condition.
