ABSTRACT
Health issues in the mass media tend to be dealt with, from the perspective of informative journalism, fundamentally, without the contextualization, analysis or reflection of specialists or experts. Faced with a techno-communicative panorama in which the internet has changed not a few aspects of the citizen's relationship with information and health management, urges to the mediated organizations to revalue hierarchies in the construction of agendas, to seek intersectorial links and to promote convergence areas between medical staff and communicators. The health professional can be a key element in the interpretation of the contents, the elaboration of the messages and the dosage of the information, in mediating between the technical domain of its scope of competences and the conceptual level that, on average, the population demand or should be within reach of it.REFERENCES
