ABSTRACT
Hydatidiform mole is an abnormal pregnancy characterized by edematous tumefaction of chorionic villi. This paper reports the case of a pregnant 16-year-old patient, with pleural effusion type right hemothorax and implants of bilateral partial mole, with viable fetus by nuclear magnetic resonance and in the puerperium by thorax computed axial tomography; by functional class deterioration of the mother, respiratory difficulty exacerbation and preeclampsia, pregnancy was interrupted by abdominal via; an alive, male product of first gestation was obtained, managed at intensive care unit, currently alive, without apparent malformations.
