ABSTRACT
Primary leptomeningeal melanomatosis is an exceptionally rare entity
and represents a challenge for diagnosis in a clinical setting; however,
in magnetic resonance this disorder appears as diffuse and linear
signal hyperintensity in the leptomeninges in T1 sequences, which is
the diagnostic key which suggests the presence of melanin and helps
differentiate it, as well as other tumors affecting the leptomeninges.
