ABSTRACT
Before the emergent situation of the presence of the ébola in Sierra Lioness, the government requested help to the Cuban leaders; immediately they were medical collaborating correspondents, contained in the Specialized International Contingent in Situations of Disasters and Serious Epidemics "Henry Reeve"; these they acted in consequence with their preparation for the confrontation to contingencies of any type and in correspondence with their strong political and ideological preparation. After having acted with success and total surrenders in the commended mission, they were considered as heroes and they received national and international recognitions. They constitute objectives of this communication to offer an approach to the work carried out as source of historical knowledge for their study for the students of the medical sciences, and to emphasize in the humanism and the solidarity that it characterizes the Cuban professionals of the health.REFERENCES
