ABSTRACT
The author underlines above all the importance of defining
the psychiatric personality disorders based on the experience
of psychotherapists of psychodynamic and systemic approa-
ches to cope with rampant medicalisation of psychiatry today,
linked to the new edition of the DSM. Based on the study by
F. Kernberg and the three great evolutionary tasks that children
face during development, the classification proposed by
him emphasizes neurotic, psychotic, and borderline disorders.
Similarities and differences with the classification proposed
by Linares in his target-paper (2013) are briefly discussed at
the end of this paper.
