ABSTRACT
Acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis is a rare entity related to drugs, mostly antibiotics. It is characterized by self-limited, sterile pustules of less than five millimeters on an erythematous base, of benign course, that give in upon removal of the offending drug. The diagnosis is based on the clinical presentation and histopathology. We report the case of a 52-year-old man with acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis associated with ceftriaxone who was diagnosed based on his skin lesions.
